Friends, Telnet is a useful DOS program that help to communicate with remote computer by telnet protocol. You can run telnet without parameters in order to enter the Telnet context, indicated by the Telnet prompt (telnet>). From the Telnet prompt, use the following commands to manage a computer running Telnet Client. It is a DOS program with black background like command prompt. You can make many trick with Telnet. Some Windows not shows telnet by default. So we can enable it to use. Now i share about enable Telnet client. if not available Follow below steps to enable Telnet.
First Method
- Click Start button
- Go to Control Panel
- Select Program option from given list.
- You will see Turn Windows features on or off option under Programs And Features.
- Now appear a popup .Check Telnet Client from list
- Hit OK button. Wait seconds.
Second Method (Open Telnet with command prompt)
- Click Start menu, Search for command prompt or CMD , and then press Enter.
- Type the following command on Command Prompt.
pkgmgr /iu:"TelnetClient"
- If the User Account Control(UAC) dialog box appears, confirm that the action it displays is want you want.
- Then click continue.
- When the command prompt appears again, the installation is complete.
- Done
