How To Hide A File Behind The Image With Command Prompt
Friends, Now i share a trick to hide a file in to you JPG image. This is simple. You no need any additional tool to create this type images. Only you need command prompt (CMD) and WinRAR for create this type images. If you don,t have WinRAR please download it. This trick is mainly used for hiding important details from others. You need Command Prompt and WinRAR to hide a file into image. Download WinRAR, if not in your system.
- First select an image to be used for hiding file behind the image ( I select a JPEG/JPG image file named ImageEX.jpg)
- Then select a file to hide behind the image and Make it in .rar format. With the help of the WinRAR. ( I select a video named VideoEX to hide and make it like videoEX.rar format with WinRAR)
Please paste both the files on desktop. You may do this anywhere instead of desktop, if you have some basic understanding of command line.
- Now open CMD from searching start menu OR Go to Start > Accessories > Command Prompt
- Then type following commands in it and hit enter key.
cd desktop
CD stands for change directory by typing above command you change your directory to desktop.
- After that type command given below.
Copy /b ImageEX.jpg + VideoEX.rar Finalimage.jpg
Change ImageEX.jpg with your image name. Don't forget to add image format (Eg: .jpg,.png,.gif) Replace VideoEX.rar with name of your file you want to hide. It must be in .rar format.
- After that Hit on Enter key on keyboard. A confirmation shows on black screen of command prompt.
- Now appear a new file named Finalimage.jpg on your desktop. But you cant access hidden file directly.
To access Hidden file, Please open Finalimage.jpg with WinRAR.
- Open WinRAR.
- Just drag Finalimage.jpg to WinRAR
- Now Extract the file. You can see hidden file now.
